House Auction for Charity
If you take a drive along Ngahue Drive you will notice a special kind of building activity going on. Stonefields are supporting the Rotary Club of Auckland East Inc and G.J Gardner Homes to build a relocatable house on-site to be auctioned for chartiy.

This auction of a "ready to live in" relocatable quality G.J. Gardner home for charity is a major fundraising project being undertaken by the Rotary Club of Auckland East Inc. together with G.J. Gardner Homes who are donating much of the labour and Landco Land Developments Limited who have made a construction site available for the project at no cost.
The home will be built on site at Ngahue Drive, Stonefields, commencing in December 2008 and will be auctioned in early 2009. The net proceeds of the auction will be distributed between the Life Education Trust, the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation, and the Motor-Neurone Disease Association of New Zealand, all deserving charities supported by the Rotary Club.
The project would not have been possible without the help of the many supporting businesses who have agreed to supply labour, construction materials, fittings, whiteware and furnishings at little or no cost. Full details of these generous contributors appear on-site. ASB Bank Limited has assisted by providing finance for the project on friendly terms.
As the home is re-locatable, the successful bidder at the auction will be required to have a site available and will be responsible for ensuring that all appropriate consents are in place. The successful bidder will be responsible for relocation costs. Full auction details and terms will be available on site.
Further information regarding this project can be obtained by calling 0800 45 42 73.
Your support for this worthwhile project will ensure that the health and welfare especially of children will benefit significantly.
