When will the Stonefields Community be completed?
What are the key facts about Stonefields?
- Stonefields is a new, high quality urban village community that is transforming a long-disused area of Auckland: the 110 hectare site of the former Winstone’s Mt. Wellington quarry, only 8km from Auckland’s CBD.
- Stonefields is far more than just another residential subdivision. It is a master planned community that will, when finished, include approximately 2,900 dwellings for around 6,500 people to call home, supporting Auckland’s need to create desirable urban living space for its ever-increasing population.
- The community has a wide variety of housing options and will offer a significant range of amenities, including a 5.3 hectare lake & wetland area, a town centre, a primary school, a network of neighbourhood parks and a series of heritage trails around the community.
