What sort of school will be built, and when?
  • The Ministry of Education has acquired a 3.2 hectare site in the middle of Stonefields and intends to create a modern primary school that will be capable of taking about 500 pupils of school years 1-8 (aged 5-12 years)
  • The Ministry intends that the school would open at the start of the 2011 school year.
  • Because the school will be no more than ten minutes walk from the furthest house, it will allow pupils to arrive on foot, meaning less traffic and parking hassles near the school and less vehicle emissions in the vicinity.
  • A board of trustees has been appointed by Minister of Education to get community input into the design process.
